October 12, 2022, CALGARY, AB – The Educational Partnership Foundation (TEPF) is thrilled to launch an exciting edition of their ‘Reading… Give it a Shot!’ (RGIS) collector cards: Dinosaurs. Generously sponsored by Johnson Insurance, this edition adds to their variety of cards that include Canadian Wildlife, Endangered Species, and Calgary Flames.
“We are so grateful to Johnson Insurance for helping us make this new addition of cards possible. This literacy program has been extremely valuable to Alberta youth and we look forward to expanding our program offering with these cards,” Barb Simic, President & CEO of TEPF, explains.
RGIS is TEPF’s longest-running program, providing a valuable literacy program for Alberta youth. Collector cards are earned when students log reading minutes and since 1995, over 823,000 youth have participated across the province. To celebrate the launch, TEPF and Johnson Insurance will be hosting an event with the elementary students at St. Martha School in NE Calgary.
Randy Pearson of Johnson Insurance shares, “Johnson Insurance is proud to support this exciting edition of dinosaur cards for TEPF’s ‘Reading Give it a Shot!’ program. We are committed to supporting our community, youth, and their education.”
