Unfortunately, there is a growing number of Canadian children living in lower income families where basic needs take priority over learning and books in the home. Learning can’t happen without the tools and resources needed to acquire the skill. In addition, due to budget reductions and changes, public education programs continue to be underfunded and/or cut.
In response to this growing need in our community for books, we launched Books for Kids. Statistics show that literacy and education are cornerstones to success in life. We are proud to be able to supply books to children who need them most.
