Equipped with over eight years of experience across the non-profit and corporate sectors, Ria has a strong passion for building connection and community. Given her diverse work history, she holds a variety of skills leveraging both traditional and innovative approaches to engage different audiences and stakeholders. Her previous experience includes building and executing communications and engagement strategies to elevate organizational performance, brand, and culture. Ria holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Mount Royal University, where she majored in General Management, and completed a double minor in Social Innovation & Nonprofit Studies and Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
Three vital ingredients drive both her professional and personal worlds: curiosity, creativity, and results. Curiosity to learn, creativity to challenge the status quo, and results to indicate success and lessons learned. Ria believes that each day presents us all with an opportunity to be better that our last.
