Mike is an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working with industry. He brings years of experience in areas of business development, government relations, event management, nonprofit organizations, operations management, and coaching. He graduated from British Columbia Institute of Technology with Red Seal Endorsements for plumbing and steamfitting and studied leadership at University of Alberta, School of Business. Mike has a wealth of experience, serving on the board of directors of several organizations including the Alberta Construction Safety Association, Job Safety Skills Society and was the Chair of the Board of the Manufacturers Health & Safety Association. He has participated in the work of several construction industry committees and working groups for over a decade.
Mike’s true passion is in helping others by giving back to the community. His volunteer work at The Educational Partnership Foundation, WorldSkills 2009, The Canadian Mental Health Association and as a member of the Prostate Cancer Canada Prairie Leadership Council have been some of many opportunities that hold special places in his heart.
