Did you know one in four Canadian households doesn’t own a single book?

We’re kicking off this end-of-year campaign on Giving Tuesday, in hopes it inspires our community who value literacy and the youth in Alberta.

The need for books sometimes takes a back seat to groceries, rent, winter boots and other house bills. The statistic is sad, but with one in four Canadian households without a book, we hope you’ll consider donating to our Give the Gift of Literacy campaign. Your donation will be matched by the Calgary Flames Foundation, doubling your personal impact. With this match, even your $60 donation will get books into the hands of four students who need them.
