Our Books for Kids program helps TEPF further enhance our impact on literacy levels in the community by donating books to select schools across Alberta. This empowers young learners by giving them the essential tools they need to uplift their literacy skills and unlock the boundless joy of reading.
One in four households in Canada does not own any books. By providing books to these learners, we aspire to create a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed through the power of literacy.
At TEPF, we refuse to stand idly by in the face of this pressing need in our community. In 2021, we proudly launched the transformative program, Books for Kids.
We identify deserving schools based on their high needs population, number of English language learners, and Indigenous populations.
In partnership with an incredible ensemble of sponsors, we bring the joy of reading into the hands of vulnerable students in schools across Alberta. And it's theirs to keep, forever.
